I just finished up a cute little bedside table that I want to share with you.
This table has been in the family for quite some time and
has lived most of its life white......
)
(The drawers were being painted when I remembered to take a pic)
Here she is.
A cute little table that could has many possibilities.
Our granddaughter Miss K needed a bedside table and really liked this one
so ...
the process began to transform it from its old white
to a brand new
updated version of " teenage awesomeness"....
And - here she is.
Miss K chose a bright blue body
painted with Valspar's Sweet Rhapsody
and the drawers were
painted with Valspar's Key Lime.
We used satin latex paint
and no
distressing
per her request for this one.
Then I added a couple of updated, modern knobs
to the drawers
in keeping with our modern girl.
The green here looks a little drab -
it really is a bright key lime in color.
I love this little table now.
The blue really makes the braiding on the front stand out much more.
The colors are so crisp and bright,
making this a cheery little table.
Now it fits in to Miss K's modern, beachy room.
And....
she loves it.
That's the most important part.
So, until next time....
Get out there do something fun but, most of all enjoy your life.
Lovin' my life in Carolina
