Hi Everyone,
Today I am going to show you my pumpkins I have been working on. If you follow me on on Facebook I have been teasing you with a couple of pictures of paper lunch bags cut into strips. Well, now it the time to show you what I have done with those lunch bags....(drum roll)
I made these awesome paper lunch bag pumpkins!
I love all the texture that the paper gives them and they are so rustic looking.
With the paper twist body, the book page leaves and the twine stem they blend in well with my paper decor challenge I am doing this year.
I love how they look with pops of brilliant oranges around them. And just imagine how they would look in a basket filled with neutral pumpkins, gourds and pine cones or in a rustic, woodsy decor or whatever decor you use. They could be used in most any color combination and the texture they add would be so much fun.
I will be sharing the how-to later as it has been raining for days and my tutorial pictures are not very good. Yesterday we finally had our first bit of sunshine and I was able to do a quick picture of the finished pumpkins. It promises to be sunny today so maybe I can get those tutorial pics done before the next onslaught of rain hits us again.
What do you think - is there room in your fall decor for some lunch bag pumpkins? I love to hear from you so let me know in the comments below. I answer all comments through email.
Until next time - enjoy creating something you love.
Hugs,

Beautiful! Looking forward to catching the tutorial. Isn't it surprising what just a few twists and folds of a plain piece of paper can create? If you're looking for another place to share your projects, I would love to have you stop by Etcetorize and join our Make it Monday party. It's still open!
